now that i think about it, i should've given up TV for lent.
well, celebrity cooking showdown was a waste of time. no, not even govind armstrong was able to convince me to watch for more than 15 minutes.
good thing "house" and "gilmore girls" were on tonight, too. because if even TV lets you down, then there's not much hope left for anything else in this world.
...
i've never learned the art of taking compliments gracefully mainly because i almost always don't agree with them. but if there's one thing that i appreciate hearing, it's when people mistake me for a dancer.
not because i'm of the same opinion but because i'm the klutziest person alive. seriously, i trip while standing still.
but dancers are a joy to be seen, so being told that i move like one never fails to make my day.
now all i have to worry about is how to erase the memories of those countless others who have witnessed me topple down the stairs, trip over my shadow, crash into store benches, use my butterfingers...
...
psst, fellow "bring it on" lovers. the same people made a new movie, only it's about gymnastics this time.
and antonio banderas is in this dance movie. that filipino boy who played rufio in "hook" is there, too. and eddie's girlfriend in "that's so raven". and london in "the suite life of zack and cody". and that annoying girl in "de grassi: the next generation"... ENOUGH. i'm beginning to sound like a human IMDB.
